25.03.18 – Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival

Lead volunteer – Janet  Cost – £5 return & pay for your own lunch.

Meet at The Trackside Pub at East Lancs Railway Station in Bury at 11.30am and we will get the 11.50am steam train to Ramsbottom, a short distance away. You will need change for the parking meter. The trains have limited wheelchair spaces. Please call Janet on 07714457705 if wish to reserve one.

We will need to stay in smaller groups during this activity as the village apparently gets very busy so we won’t be able to all stick together. There is a fish & chip shop where we can buy lunch and then all meet up again in the picnic area next to the river and the train track. People can then continue visiting the various stalls and activities dotted around the village and just take the train back to Ramsbottom when they have had enough (must report to one of the volunteers that you are leaving though so we don’t panic!).
